Our History

Bugbusters Exterminating was started in 1980 by Mr. & Mrs. Johnston & in 2012 they decided to retire & sell the company to Stacey & Mike Weaver. Stacey was a longtime employee of Bugbusters while Mike worked as a supervisor in the manufacturing business before retiring after 25 years & came into the pest control business with Stacey. Stacey & Mike see over the day to day operations of Bugbusters, Stacey serves as the responsible licensed Certified Applicator while her husband Mike works as a fully licensed Technician. Bugbusters is always evolving to better service our customers as we grow. Our Team consist of both full & part-time employees therefore as times change so does Bugbusters. Our other full-time Team Members are Mr. Morgen Wolverton & Mr. Shae McDonald. They are both a great asset to our Team as they are eager to learn the many skills it takes to solve pest issues in these changing times of East Texas while bettering our Bugbusters Team. They both enjoy working with our customers as well as using their skills to help educate them on the challenging pest issues here in East Texas. Their son Cameron works as a part-time Team Member with Bugbusters since he works in another field full-time, Cameron’s business career is in Financing & Accounting so he mainly uses his skills to serve Bugbusters in other capacities. We are very proud to have had the opportunity of taking over this well-established business & continue to serve our clients with the same clean, professional, on time service that has been a long-time tradition of Bugbusters.
